We are currently looking for an organized, creative, determined Social Media Marketing Coordinator to play a critical role in growing and driving awareness of the myDevices brand on social media under the direction of the Director of Marketing and working alongside the Content Creator. In addition to social media, the Social Media Marketing Coordinator will provide general administrative support to the Marketing Department.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive myDevices social media initiatives through scheduled postings of content 
  • Create content based on target audience and social media platform
  • Responsible for written content development 
  • Work to increase engagement and community growth
  • Tracking, analyzing and reporting social media analytics
  • Manage time and meet deadlines
  • Department administrative support as needed
  • Responsible for consumer engagement and monitoring 
  • Coordinate external vendors (photographer, videographer) 
  • Stay current with social media trends
  • Think creatively and take direction 
  • Manage time and meet deadlines

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Passionate about both being a user/consumer of social media as well as analyst/strategist
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 1 year of prior experience in digital or social media marketing or a related field
  • Understanding of how to capture and edit video for social media 
  • Strong editing, copywriting, proofreading and grammar skills
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) a plus
  • Creative thinker with the ability to translate ideas into shareable content
  • Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and complete ad-hoc assignments in a timely manner
  • Familiarity with digital and social analytics tools 
  • Sharp understanding and point of view on social media trends
